Categories

The categories of cookies used.

Strictly necessary

Session, authentication and security cookies needed to load the site and keep a portal login working.

Preferences

Cookies that remember interface choices, such as a previously selected view, so the experience stays consistent between visits.

Analytics

Cookies or similar technologies used to understand aggregate usage of the website, such as which pages are visited, to inform site improvements.

What each does

How these categories function in practice.

  • Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled without breaking core site or portal functionality
  • Preference cookies affect display and convenience only, not account security
  • Analytics technologies are used in aggregate and are not used to sell information about individual visitors
  • No cookie on this site is used to serve third-party advertising

Choices

How choices about cookies are handled.

ScriptClear does not currently use a dedicated consent-management vendor. Choices about non-essential cookies are managed through your browser settings rather than an on-site preference center at this time.

  1. 1

    Review current settings

Check your browser's privacy or cookie settings to see what is currently allowed.

  2. 2

    Block or clear cookies

Use browser controls to block non-essential cookies or clear existing ones.

  3. 3

    Expect some effect on preferences

Blocking preference cookies may reset display choices between visits; strictly necessary cookies are still required for portal login to function.

Do Not Track

How Do Not Track signals are handled.

There is no common industry standard for responding to browser Do Not Track signals. ScriptClear does not currently respond differently to a Do Not Track signal, and instead relies on the cookie categories and browser controls described on this page.

Managing settings

Managing cookies in common browsers.

  • Most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies from the privacy or security settings menu
  • Private or incognito browsing windows generally limit cookies to that session
  • Browser extensions can provide additional cookie and tracker controls if desired
