Baseline requirements
What must be in place before a review begins.
- A legally formed operating entity with identifiable ownership
- A live website or application describing the service offered
- A defined clinical workflow, synchronous or asynchronous
- Licensed providers, employed or contracted, for each state served
- A patient intake process that can be demonstrated end to end
- Access to policies, terms and disclosures currently in use
- A named internal owner for the certification process
Scope
Certification is scoped, not global.
Scope is agreed before review begins: which brands, domains, services, workflows and states are covered. Anything outside that scope is not certified and cannot be represented as certified.
Brands and domains
Each customer-facing brand and domain in scope is listed explicitly.
Learn moreServices and workflows
Programs with materially different clinical workflows are reviewed separately.
Learn moreStates
Coverage statements are matched to licensure and workflow documentation.
Learn moreThird parties
Pharmacy, lab and technology relationships in scope are documented.

What ScriptClear does not certify.
- Clinical quality of care or individual treatment decisions
- Compliance with laws outside the published standards scope
- Financial condition, solvency or business viability
- Conduct of third parties, including pharmacies and processors
- Anything a business declines to make available for review
Certification describes conformity with the ScriptClear standards in effect on the date of decision, for the scope stated on the certificate.
