- Do not misrepresent certification status, scope or the meaning of the ScriptClear mark

Accounts
Responsibility for portal accounts.

- 1
Registration
An account is created with a work email and basic organization details.
- 2
Use
The account is used to submit evidence, track findings and view certification status.
- 3
Access changes
Organizations are responsible for notifying ScriptClear when a user should no longer have account access.
Intellectual property
Ownership of the platform and its content.
- The ScriptClear name, mark, standards text, methodology descriptions and website content are owned by ScriptClear or its licensors
- Nothing in these terms grants a license to use the ScriptClear name or mark except as described in the badge licensing terms
- Feedback submitted about the platform may be used to improve it without further obligation
Content ownership
Evidence and submissions remain yours.
Documents, screenshots, licensure records and written responses submitted during a review remain the property of the submitting organization. ScriptClear is granted only the rights needed to review, retain and reference that evidence in connection with the certification it supports.
Availability
The platform is provided on an as-available basis.
- Scheduled maintenance and updates may temporarily limit portal access
- ScriptClear works to maintain reasonable availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access
- Material planned outages are communicated where practical in advance
Disclaimers
What ScriptClear's services do not provide.
- ScriptClear does not provide legal advice, and nothing on this platform should be treated as legal advice
- Certification reflects a scope-specific assessment against published standards, not a guarantee of compliance with any law
- ScriptClear does not guarantee that any processor, bank, advertising platform, pharmacy or regulator will approve, accept or recognize a certified organization
- Automated analysis is one input to a review and is validated by a qualified reviewer before a decision is issued
Liability
General limitation of liability.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ScriptClear's liability arising from use of the website or platform is limited, and ScriptClear is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential outcomes, including third-party decisions made in reliance on a certification status. Specific limitation language and figures will be finalized in the v1.0 program terms.
Termination
How access can end.
- 1
Voluntary closure
An account holder or organization may request account closure at any time through /contact.
- 2
Non-compliance
Access may be suspended or terminated for violation of these terms, including misuse of certification status.
- 3
Effect of termination
Certification status is addressed separately under the suspension and revocation process, not solely by account termination.
Governing law
Governing law is being finalized.
A specific governing-law and venue provision will be specified in the v1.0 program terms rather than asserted prematurely here.
ScriptClear will update this section once the v1.0 program terms are published.
