Suspension
When certification status changes.
A certification that can never be withdrawn means nothing. Suspension and revocation are defined outcomes with written reasoning, published status changes and a documented path back where one exists.

Triggers
What can lead to suspension.
- A material change to the certified scope that has not been reviewed
- Unclosed corrective actions past their agreed window
- Monitoring findings that contradict certified documentation
- Misuse of the ScriptClear badge or certification language
- Failure to provide evidence reasonably requested during monitoring
- Material misrepresentation during application or review
Outcomes
Suspension, revocation and expiration are different things.
Suspended
Certification is paused pending resolution. The badge must be removed while suspended.
Learn moreRevoked
Certification is withdrawn. Reapplication is subject to a waiting period and full reassessment.
Learn moreExpired
The term ended without renewal. An administrative outcome, not a finding.
Learn moreReinstated
Status restored after the underlying issue is closed and evidence is validated.
Learn morePublic record
Status is updated where partners look.
The verification profile reflects current status. Businesses are notified in writing before a public status change wherever the circumstances allow.
